At FitOne we are fueled by a passion to inspire student-athletes to maximize their potential.  We train them to pull their best qualities. We believe that every able-bodied youth has athletic ability and we assess each student to identify their specific needs.

Track & Field
Training

Coach Mac's Foundation is built on hard work, dedication and leadership. He has over 25 years in track & field coaching. After graduating from East NY Vocational (now Transit Tech High) he attended St. John's University on a track scholarship.

After graduating St. John's and serving 3 years in the military, he went back to Transit Tech as a teacher and coach. Under his leadership Transit Tech won 6 national championships, 5 state championships and numerous borough championships. Coach Mac was voted coach of the year for 2 consecutive years in the NY City Public School Athletic League. He was also able to study and achieve a master's degree in Public Administration and a PHD in Theology.

Runner

Although at FitOne we prepare athletes to compete at the national and collegiate level, it is our mission to maintain a fun yet structered environment that is led with discipline while improving our techniques consistently. We focus on technique, speed, agility, dynamics, strength, endurance and character on and off the track.
